Our theme this year is "One Body, Many Parts". I Corinthians 12:27 is our theme verse: "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." This theme was chosen by this year's grade eight students and expresses their desire that individual gifts and abilities be valued as contributing to the whole body. We have been experiencing this with our Body Parts Team activities during the last period on Fridays. Our grade 7 and 8 leaders are building supportive relationships with our younger students, which is making Heritage a more enjoyable learning community for all ages.
